The City of Geraldton-Greenough has a population of 37,500. A port city, it is the administrative centre of the Midwest’s diverse industry base from a world leading rock lobster fishery to agriculture and gold production. Other industries include mining, fishing, manufacturing, construction and tourism.

Fantastic Weather
Average maximum temperatures peak in February in Geraldton, with a monthly mean of about 30°C on the coast and just over 32°C at the airport. Regular sea breezes moderate the climate in the warmer months; in contrast, winters are mild with the July average maximum temperature being the lowest of any month at just under 20°C. Christian Education
Situated in the eastern Geraldton suburb of Strathalbyn, Strathalbyn Christian College caters to children from Kindergarten to Year 12. Almost 500 primary and secondary students are located on one campus. The Panaceum is a multidisciplinary health facility developed by local GPs, including one from Geraldton Baptist Church. It provides access to a range of health services including doctors, nurses, physio, pharmacy, podiatry, pathology, dietician, speech pathologist and more. Geraldton has several other medical groups and two modern, well-equiped hospitals; Geraldton Regional Hospital and St John of God Geraldton.
