**NEWS FLASH** After more than 13 years without a paid minister, Geraldton Baptist Church has appointed a Pastor.

Since 1998 the responsibility of pastoral care and pulpit ministry has been taken by a small team of Elders and Deacons, supported by other gifted people within the congregation. In recent years a part-time Administration Officer has been employed to support the Elders, Deacons and the congregation.

The new pastor, who has 21 years of pastoring experience, will begin in the role in early 2012.
